I have just installed an Injen CAI and a blitz TT with boost monitor. While testing the new setup , i have noticed the peak boost hits 1.7 bar (about 25 psi), is that normal or should i be worried?

 

Stock boost is ~22 psi. Also be advised that not all gauges are 100% accurate.

 

uhm thats what i thought too, why is there such boost spike..will i hurt sumethin..

 

I have a Greddy boost gage. Turboback exhaust with no cat. My boost spikes to 25-26 psi when I floor it in 3rd and 4th. But settles out to around 21.5 psi after the spike. Then tapering to redline obviously. It's normal.
