You probably won't even tell if you painted it with the wrinkled finish, unless you stick your head into the fog light opening. Flat black should do just fine. I still have the stock piping with the JDM fog delete kit and the LICP is noticeable. Just make sure you prep the pipe properly so the paint wil stick.

i guess i'll buy some high-temp paint, usually it holds better.

how should i prep it?

i guess clean it with rubbing alcohol to get rid of any oils, primer it, and spray it?

Wet sand it with some high grit sand paper (800-1000), just enough to take the shine off, clean with alcohol, prime and paint. Remember, it doesn't have to be a perfect, cause basically 3/4 of the pipe you can't see. And even the part you can see will be behind the mesh, so again, you would have to stick your head through the fog light opening to see any imperfections.

I got the pipe an hour and half ago. i sanded it with 1k grit sandpaper, tied it to angled stakes in my backyard and primered it.

i waited like 15 min and i sprayed it quick. came out pretty good. i got plenty of coats on it. the only thing what happened was that i sprayed it too fast (might rain today and possibly rest of the week), so certain areas it feels a tad gritty (no paint drips though!).

All in all, i don't really mind because as JDW1479 said, i won't be able to really see any of the spots so as long as it's stealthy, i'm happy.

I would have said before the polish the rest of the parts so you have everything nice and shiny... but keeping polished aluminum shiny can be such a pain that it's really hardly worth it. Go with the way this guy said to prep it and paint it up and you'll be good. Could get it powdercoated though.. that looks nice.

+1000 additional whp, and no turbo lag? haha

I was actually hoping for a better throttle response. I read that many people were claiming increased response but i have yet to see any. All in all, it's a good product and no actual complaints.

bah, sorry i didn't take any pictures. i rushed through everything then i had to fly to class. had a review for my final tomorrow. I'll be ordering the MR front foglight mesh soon, and t-bolt clamps. So when it comes in, i'll probably be redoing it, and i'll respray the finish with the wrinkle black.

these people are probably either resetting the battery and noticing the full reset or they just want to justify spending sometimes as much as $600 on pipes.
