Just wondering if anyone is using Brian Crower 272 Cams ?

There are going for USD 550, which is relatively cheap but if someone could shed some light on gains would be nice

I don't know the gains on a X, but the gains on an VIII and IX are not impressive. Not worth the money. Go with brands like HKS, Kelford or Cosworth.

 

Not true. I got great gains on my 8 with them.

 

We were just recently made aware of these (we are a Brian Crower master distributor) and I too am very interested in how they will perform. With that said I would like to extend a significant discount to anyone that would be willing to give these a shot and post some results, please contact me if this interests you!

 

Ya give me some savings on some 272's (possibly 280's just scared for driveability reasons), springs, and ill do some post results for ya. Thanks

Whatever cams I go with, likely I'm going to want to keep them installed so they better deliver 30-40 whp the first try! I would be very interested in how they compare to the Cosworth MX1 cams. For the street I think the Cosworth are my best choice and are matched well with the GT30 turbo. If you can get some results on a larger turbo setup that would be good info as well.
