Arrow BC 272's VS. GSC S1

Hey guys,
I am going to be purchasing my cams next week. I was looking at the Brian Crower 272's and the Gsc S1's. Now, the Brian Crowers are looking great for the price!
Are the Gsc's worth the additional $250 over the Brian Crowers?

I have the BCs and I am very happy. Ask yourself if you think that percentage increase in price is really going to get you the same percentage gain in performance. I don't think it's worth it personally, hence my choice of cams.

I cant believe that the 250 extra will net the same in gains as well. Hence my choice of cams.

IMO I think it will be worth it! my bf and i have the exact same mods (tbe/dp, 10.5, licp, walbro, filter, mbc...etc) except i have bc 272 and he has the gsc s1. driving my car compared to his...definitely his has more tq. the s1s idle sounds a little louder then the bc 272. either way, good luck with your choice.

Go with the BC 280's if your looking for more performance without breaking your wallet. I have the BC 280's and the idle isn't that bad. Power up top is never ending (past 9,500 rpm it's still making around 700 awhp). The GSC's are worth the cash if you can afford them, but the BC 280's still kick a set of HKS 272's butt.

The BCs pull great! And if you are interested, I have a set of the BC 272s for sale right now. I will give them to you for $250 shipped. They are in great condition, less than 5K miles. I am upgrading to BC 280 with springs and retainers. Let me know if you are interested. If you do its about a $50+ savings. IMO, the S1s arent worth twice the money.

The BC 280s are good for a Intake/exhast evo with an evo 9 turbo, the evo 8 turbo has no chance. I had the 8 turbo and put 272s on and it barely let it all out. Put the 9 turbo on and it loves them! But I still noticed a BIG gain on the stock turbo. But 280s wouldnt have a chance! By the way, U HAVE PM!

i'm running BC 272's and love em. you cannot beat the price/performance of the BC's. idle isn't as "lumpy" and you could spend that other 250 on springs and retainers. i wouldn't go 280's unless you upgrade the rest of your valvetrain

After a couple months of reading reviews I have decide to go with BC's 272. You just can't beat the price.
