Brian Crower 272 vs GSC S1

Ok guys, prob been asked many many times in the past, but after searching 25 - 30 pages of threads I didn't find what I was looking for, so hoping someone can answer on here for me please.

I want to know how the BC 272's compare to the GSC S1's.

Not interested in other cams just these 2 sets and the price of them doesn't need to come into it in this question either

More interested in the power differences between the 2, on a 2.0 setup (altho if you have a stroker I am also interested in your numbers).

Anyone have any good info on either set, or anyone tried both sets in there cars ?

I have the BC 272's, and I don't have a single complaint. The power gain was good with not too bad of a lope. I dd the car without fail. I've never used the GSC's so I have no idea how they compair. But I do know the BC's compair very closely to HKS'. If you decide on the BC's, shoot me a pm, I can get BC's for about 295 + shipping.

please keep comments like this out of the thread.

I believe that the OP is interested in hard evidence.

If anyone has a dyno graph of some BC's, and/or the S1's that would be great!

I also am in the search for these answers as I will be in the cam search as well.

I was leaning toward the BC but I would love more evidence

lol bros mine is better

thats my very old membership before i got my 1000 bhp i used tae dream of owning the hyper lemon 5 evo 5 original jun car, my inspiration

Thats what I meant, I didn't think you had "downgraded" to the hyper lemon

I actually think this is a rule now

My reply was aim'd at SILVERnSLOW, but I have seen the same posts as yourself.

I actually have a set of S1's at the moment, but there is an issue with them, so i've had to get them swapped over, but in the uk moses has promoted them so well, that the country is just about dry of them

So it's a choice of:

a) swap to the BC 272's
or
b) hold up the engine build until the next batch of S1's arrive.


So far my plan is to go for option a

Unless I get some proof on this thread, that there no good (which I don't think will happen).
