What kind of cam timing are you referring to exactly, or in your eyes as a good choice for the BC 272's?

The cam lobe doesn't sit in the centre of the rocker.

It is slightly offset, and sits very close to the cam cap.

I have no idea, which is why I wasn't going to fit them, however Greg@GSC was contacted by my supplier, and he said there all like that, and it's how they are.

So if GSC say there fine, then I guess there fine.

I was also looking into getting the BC cams, but after reading this and reading other threads Im starting to think twice about this now.

As for the S1 and S2 what do you guys think would be best. Stock turbo but the head will have Supertech Dual springs with titanium retainers, valves, port and polish , and new guides/seals/seats. Later I will get a bigger tubro but not till next yr.

Question

Greg, I pmed you, and don't know if you see it.

I talked to other member with S1 cams, he said his lobe and roller are perfectly centered, but why some are centered and some aren't?

Just get S1 for now, you can run bigger turbo w/ S1, they recommend the S2 for GT35 and up. What if you change your mind about getting big turbo later? just run S1 for now.

My S1's were great, but me being the way I am I think the S2s are killer with my Green. Maybe not for all people but I am not seeing any problems with them

I agree. As I said in your thread about the S2s and the Green, I think it is very potent. A little headwork and maybe an intake manifold and they are going to really shine.
