I have BC 272's in my VIII they gained 30hp 30tq over the stock cams and redialing in the tune. Which were right on par with what cars were gaining going to the HKS 272's at a fraction of the cost. Those cams have been in my car 70k miles
That said I would not recommend them to anyone nowadays as there are much better cams on the market now reasonably priced which was not the case when I bought the BC's.
I'll be swapping them out when I do the timing components soon here for S2's

There is a lot more to cam design then that my friend which is the reason S2's are going in my car they have updated their EVO cams a couple times now over the years
Look at the specs to all the popular cam they are all different. Center Line, Lift, Duration, Duration at X amount Lift, etc... all come into play
