I would be interested in a core charge setup as well, even if it cost an extra $50 for the process as my car is also my daily driver at the moment. Sure I can rent a car for a few days but where can you rent a 500 hp car these days... boost withdrawal symptoms set in after 8 hrs for me!

Idle is like stock TB no difference.

Based on the turn time stated on their web site, putting a core on a credit card, and having it reversed before the bill comes should be easy as pie. I am going to do this at the same time as my intake manifold. Hopefully before Halloween.

It costs just as much as the JUN big bore throttle body, but 1mm less in size.

You still have to send in your TB to jun since their us office closed you would have to send it to japan. I don't think you will get it in a week. Good luck with that one. Boomba is a vendor that you can contact directly. Good luck talking to someone at jun

uh, and people here complain about getting scammed, when the consumer tries to scam the companies?

actually if you look at core charge included, it's about the same, assuming neither does core exchanges. but you're right about the contact bit - good luck getting someone there to answer you.

I think he meant he'd get his credit refunded after he provided his original TB....

oh i get it now the whole thing about having it reversed made it sound like the guy was gonna file a fraudulent charge or something to that end. but yeah that and/or whatever that entails a deposit/refund.

It is cheaper and we are in the US. There is the reason that we went to 64mm. Boring TB to 65 mm leaves wall thickness less then 0.02 in (0.5 mm) in some places. It makes it very weak, so we decided to stick with 64mm and not compromise casting strength.

The Jun TB cross section is 3% bigger than this one, for the same price it is a better buy.
