Correct, you will not hit 400whp on a stock turbo, unless you are using a dynojet. Dynojet numbers I am pretty much at 400whp with E-85 but don't plan on getting there without some meth/e-85 help, and that will only be on a high reading dyno.

i guess everyone has different opinions on dynos. reaching 400 on RRE's dyno is my goal. if i had e85 gas around my area my goal would be easy

A dyno is a tuning tool. The number is irrelevant; relative gains are important. Comparing numbers generated withing varying constraints on separately configured dynos is meaningless.

so assuming ill get around 20whp with intercooler and piping with my existing/supporting mods would put me around 380. which puts me 20 short of my goal on 91 octane with stock turbo. no where close to 400?

That's what they always say until it's been tested on a USDM model, and you can just buy the cams seperately from the Valcon.

Edit: According to HKS USA these camshafts will not work with the USDM model without the use of the Valcon unit. The lift and duration is similar to that of stock and they retail for over 1800 USD. As of this time there is no camshaft available for the USDM Evo X.
