It's actually relevant information since we were wondering what fuel line to use in-tank to replace the OEM black corugated stuff that seems to be breaking down.
I assume you are using generic black rubber fuel hose and it's not getting all "funky"??

I am planning on buying some stainless steel braided lines. Question is what hose size do we need and what length? Anyone know? I guess length is not to important as I can just order a couple feet but what is the standard fuel line size, I.E. 1/4" or 3/4" ect.
There's no reason to use braided stainless line in the tank. The rubber hose under the braided SS sheath is the same as standard fuel hose. I talked to Goodyear about their E85 rated SAE30R9 hose and this is the response I got:
"I will tell you that both our 30R7 and 30R9 hoses will work with the fuel you are using. However, these are fuel transfer hoses and not designed or tested to be used in a submerged application.
The cover is design to be exposed to fuel and oil, but to be fully submerged in fuel all the time is a completely different situation. "

That sounds promissing! Where did you find the teflon/SS hose?
I see Earls has some new hose that may work well:

I called up these guys who were linked on page 3.
http://www.paragonperformance.com/Bi...el%20Hose.html
They claim the hoses will be fine submerged and he can even crimp the right adaptor on the end to screw right into the 100 Micron -10 female o-ring areomotive filter linked in this site that Bryan recommended to me. The problem is the guy at paragon thinks a -10 is probably alot bigger than our stock hoses. But if I know the length needed he can use say a -6 hose place an adaptor and then put a -10 fitting that will screw right into the filter we want to use. If I can figure all this out I will post up size and adaptors needed so the next guy can just call and order. Hence my earlier question. So if anyone knows the lenght and size of the hoses needed it would be greatly appreciated.

So I'm assuming the brown funky hose in Bryan's original post is the supply line coming off the Walbro and the black line is the return line.
Are you plannning to mount your Aeromotive in-line filter in the tank? Anything -10AN is a littel overkill for our application. The Aeromotive filter is quite large and made for a much higher HP application. How were planning to mount it in the tank?
I picked up one of these Russell 40 micron stainless mesh filter:

I was planing to mount it in the engine compartment somewhere in the hose between the hard-line and the fuel rail.

The finer the filter the better as long as you don't create a restriction. The main thing for E85 compatibility is to make sure it is a stainless mesh and not a paper element.
The Russell filter is only 2" long so it should be easy to mount in-line in the engine compartment.

i'm thinking about picking this one up since it looks to be better and serviceable compared to the UR one to run my e85 setup with.
100micron with SS washable mesh

same but with shut off valve

I ordered the one from your top link. Only problem I see is it is huge at a -10 but should still work fine from my research. I plan on running mine inline with a -6 hose and -10 to -6 adaptors. I am going to pull out my pump tomorrow and measure the length I need for the in tank hose for the pump itself so I can order all my teflon hoses on Monday.
