Evo X Intake Thread
Stay away from oil based filters unless you want to buy a spare MAF sensor.
Check your tune after install, usually lean condition upon spool up.
Dont assume pre tuned maps can compansate for all intake brands, double check tune.

ttt
the intakes that utilize the factory air intake seem to make sense to me...anybody have any input regarding takeda vs injen?
I don't like the oil based filters. Can never get them cleaned right, turns into a mess, would much prefer to toss and buy another. The general principle of oil on the air filter messes with my head.

Has anybody tried the Cosworth intake? Being this is probably going to be my first mod as well I would like some input. I already have a DC cat back that came on the car when I bought it.
Would like to do an intake, MBC, cat-back and tune. Probably won't stop there though.

We have a nice intake for the X. The gold shielding is a option on the heat shield btw.
