serious throttle hesitaion!!! HELP!
I checked again this morning. RPMs and boost are not, let me repeat, not climbing under WOT. If I'm cruising at let's say 55 at 2500RPM, I'll floor it, watch RPM and boost stay almost still for about two seconds then it kicks in. From what I know, if the clutch was going bad the RPMs would climb with no acceleration.
Swap your fuel pump relay.
Is there any jerkiness during the hesitation or everything seems ok and the RPMs just aren't climbing? Any strange noises from the engine? What gear are you in when you go WOT at 2500?

Could be the good old fuel pump relay.
I had the same thing start happening to me. Trying to run a log in 3rd gear, I'd go WOT and just as the boost was peaking, there was a hard hesitation for a second or two and then it would pull. For me it wasn't the symptoms of a slipping clutch at all.
After reading all about the faulty fuel pump relay, I went out and swapped the fuel pump relay for the high beam relay. All of a sudden the car pulled hard and super smooth all the way to redline.
Try it out, it can't hurt at all.

I've had this off and on for some time now, hesitation on wot, particularly at lower rpm, like less than 4k. As the op said, lite and mid throttle are fine, it's only when you stab it that you notice the hesitation.
I was thinking it was in the throttle maps or limit maps, but I have adjusted those many times with no change. Never thought about the relay being slow to engage. I'll go ahead and swap my relay when I get back in town and see if that clears up my symptoms, in the mean time I think the op should give it a shot as the revised part number relay is not very expensive and you could even swap it with the horn relay for a quick test.
Good call
ahhh relay will make it go lean. Sounds me like boost leak somewhere. Say boost does move for 2 sec? Thats a lot. Check your fuel line going to your intake there is a recall on that to.
