I bought a T1R 76S exaust because I heard it was just a step above stock in sound level. I loved the sound until I replaced the stock cat with a high flow Mil.Spec cat. Now the exhaust drones and is too loud around town. It's not bad at constant highway cruise but drones if you are off the gas going down hill.

Does anyone have recommendations for a resonator that I can add to the system? The 76S already has one resonator in the straight section behind the cat/test pipe.

I will try to find a spot to add a second resonator based on the sizes that are available.

 

Any exhaust will drone coming down hill, your engine is slowing your car, creating a louder sound.. if it bothers you that much, just take it of gear, and use your breaks down hill. I currently have the ets v2 exhaust and its pretty loud, putting on a test pipe this week, hopefully wont make it TOO much louder.
