Has anyone else had a valve job done on the 4B11

I'm just curious if I was the first person in the world to do a 5 angle job/port work on a 4B11 head or maybe I could compare flow bench results with others... Anyway either myself or Richard from EvolutionDynamics will post up my flow bench results (before and after) from the 5 angle job and port work in a separate thread later on today.

Codevo,

Did you get the 5 angle valve job done in Dallas? If so, where at? Also, did the same company perform the port and polishing?

The 5 angle valve job and port work was done by AMS Racing based out of Fort Worth. More known for their work on VW's and LSX's but they have the equipment and know-how to do anything so they agreed to take on the challenge of being the first shop in the world to job & port a 4B11 head.

And an update on the flow bench numbers, Richard is picking the head up tomorrow along with the numbers. They will be posted immediately so as to inform the Evo X community what there stock head flows as well as the potential gains of a worked head. Stay tuned guys, this thread will not disappoint!

We use Newen to cut all our seats . We use the latest single point cutter of the Newen to give multiangle and radius seat profiles . Be nice to see flow data ,we use a SF1020 flowbench.
