We contacted the seller with no response. However it seems the sale was taken down.
FYI,
My engineers noticed a few other differences from the pictures Robh sent us and are positive it's a copy.
The hard line we use is raw stainless and not plated. Yes we supply o rings and not crush washers.
The sharp edges of the rail are rounded down from polishing, typical of machined pieces from China due to lower quality machining.
The Cosworth logo appears thinner though it's hard to tell via photos.
Also difficult to tell, but it appears the lead-in chamfer at FPR hole is missing.
Robh did mention it did not come with our instructions or any of our packaging.

I'd gladly pay a couple extra bills for the real deal... Cosworth stuff is true quality, you pay for what you get.

Moral of the story: If it sounds to good to be true...
IT IS. I hope you paid with a credit card. Stop payment on the card, dispute it as the fraud that it is. The cc company will NOT pay the merchant, or paypal, and paypal will NOT pay the seller. Be sure and post negative feed back on Ebay as well as filing the complaint with their fraud department as well. Counterfit parts are a problem in a LOT of industries, and can be quite dangerous. I would love to be in a car where the fuel rail starts leaking and blows high pressure fuel all over the hot engine, that could be really exciting.

Ummm, being that paranoid is just asinine. Unless the knock off is just complete garbage and is well below the workmanship of other custom-made fuel rails (it's just a drilled and tapped chunk of aluminum!) it'll be fine. The most I'd do is replace the fittings. The rail itself isn't going to just crumble into pieces or start leaking.Originally Posted by kozmic27

Some of us have other cars with absolutely no aftermarket support and we have to rig random stuff all the time. If done right, no catastrophic failures ever occur...
I actually would buy one if it weren't a Cosworth knock-off

Quick, someone lets the mod's know that people are crying about fake parts again!... Wait sorry, I just realized, it's not a Japanese part getting copied, so it's alright.
Carry on.
