I think David meant that it's a complete turn-key solution and the cost is what it is because it includes everything you need to install it. Comes with pumps, filter, etc.

Update on these. I now have cores instock. I've got about 10 of them. I can do these on an exchange basis now for anyone interested. You will be required to pay a core fee and then when you send your pump assembly back to us you will be refunded all but 3% of that fee as long as it is returned within 30 days. After 30 days you only get 50% of the core fee back. This ensures I get the cores back in a timely manner.

Thanks!

So this kit eliminates the factory sump system that keeps fuel around the pumps at all time no matter how full the tank is? What happens during hard acceleration or cornering if the tank isn't full? And what about the fuel filter for after the fuel pumps? Where would that go?

There is no factory sump to insure the pump always gets fuel stock or otherwise. An online fuel filter can be used. The fuel pumps us a 30 micron sock which keeps debris out of the pumps.

Yea was going to say, the Evo X stock can have fuel starvation on turns with less than 1/2 a tank...its an inherit flaw. Get a surge tank if you can't live with that. I am willing to bet Buschur's double pumper is no less reliable than a stock fuel pump.

still happens with the BR double pumper... just barely less then half tank on a straight acceleration leans me out a point of afr... so I fill at the half tank mark now

Yes, but its not really Buschur's fault...the stock Mitsu **** design does that too.

Just watch your knocklight....and if you don't have tephra mods get it.

You have something else wrong if you lean out an air fuel point with less than half a tank on our kit. I've run our car nearly empty and haven't had that issue and you are the only guy who's mentioned that..................better start looking for another problem.

I am talking about WOT acceleration with less then half a tank.. nothing else is wrong with the car. With a full tank down to half it sees 11.3-11.6AFR, less then half will see 12.3. I just noticed this last week, tried adding some gas and the issue went away.

I think something else is wrong. If the problem was the pumps being uncovered from the fuel moving away from the socks it would not be a steady problem. The car would run LEAN not just a steady .7-1 AFR point. When the sock gets uncovered the fuel pump draws air, this causes an extreme lean condition which will result in a misfire.
