Tomei Products

Hi guys I am new to this forum.

I live in Irvine. I got some good news for you guys.

I went Tomei USA located in Lake Forest. I talk to the manager Tomo about the

EVO X aftermarket parts.

They do have Pon cam coming up on December this year and Expreme Ti Single

Exhaust whole exhaust system is Titanium. The exhaust will be in the market

around Febuary 2010. Tomo told cost for cam around $600-700. The exhaust is

around $1400.

also he told me one of the guy who has EVO X MR which is on youtube for tomei

he has prototype cam. He is very happy with reponse.

and another thing I still did not get EVO X. I am thinking between 2010 STi or

EVO X GSR. MR or Touring is too much cost for EVO, so I am shooting at GSR.

does EVO X GSR has lot of engine noise while you driving freeway in fifth gear?

Can you guys tell me why EVO X GSR is better than STi? I know this is EVO Forum

but I need you guys' opinions. I will be in Fort Drum, New York until 2010 Nov. I

need to get AWD.

Thank you guys

Evo X won a lot of time trials and championships across america, that is reason enough to get that over the STi. Have you heard of any 08+ STi winning any racing championships across america in the past year?

If the interior matters to you then get an STi. The Evo X's interior is filled with cheap plastic that rattles like crazy and will drive you nuts, till you fall in love with it or gut it out for weight reduction .. Both cars make equal amounts of noise on the highway.

The Evo X has something that the STi can't offer.. PYZZAZZ.. It looks soo hawt and it's not a hatchback.

Good luck on your search and may the best car win? lol

Nice info. I have an MR, wich is not exactly the same as a GSR. When I test drove the STI and the EVO MR back to back, the STI felt like a pig in comparison. Don't get me wrong, the STi is a great car. But everything is relative.

No, not really. It's livable anyway.

Drive both and the cars will speak for themselves. The Evo is the more hardcore of the two. The STi is more comfortable as daily driver.
