UICP, LICP Xtremeboost vs Ultimate Racing
I can't recommend either...
UR has issues with cracking in their exhaust products (might carry over to their intercooler piping), I am 99% sure UR is SS. They use useless worm gear clamps for the couplers which are rubbish. Only benefit is cost... otherwise. ehhh...
Xtremeboost... lacks support really. Don't hear about them too much do you. Now they use excessively long couplers and multiple sections of piping instead of having them mandrel bent (like other company's NISEI, COBB, etc...). Use long couplers posses are issue that they swell underboost. Which isn't really help you too much, since the same thing happens with the stock tubing.
I say look else where. Just my 2 cents.
If you get quality first parts around you will need less parts to get your 350whp then piecing together more crappy lower cost parts.

How about the Turbo XS products? I've read some good reviews while doing some searches, and it's definitely inexpensive... and it's 304 stainless.
This shouldn't be a difficult choice. Intercooler piping is intercooler piping. It's either SS or Aluminum. An analysis really isn't necessary. Same holds true for a few other parts.
I would recommend going with a stainless steel upper intercooler pipe. We have more customers call in about boost leaks with aluminum piping due to over tigthening the clamps and bending the aluminum piping then I want to admit. I would also go with some nice t-bolt clamps and reinforced silicone couplers that won't pop under pressure.
Also, I would look for a 2 piece design for your UICP. The motor will rock/move under load and a 1 piece design does not allow for enough flex.
If you have any other questions, let me know!
Thanks,
Michael

^^^ what he said, Mikes a great guy and wont steer you wrong. ETS all the way. We have also had similar problems with aluminum piping not holding up in higher boosted cars and actually had one companies welds start to split at really high boost
sort of off topic but does anybody have any experience with the T1R IC pipe kit? I just got the full kit for $227 in matte black shipped, during their distributors black friday sale. ...
