UICP, LICP Xtremeboost vs Ultimate Racing

Can anyone give me some reviews and pointers towards these parts.

My Evo IS DD and my goal would be around 350 WHP with just bolt ons so which one is better to go with?

I've got the xtremeboost parts on my car and the craftsmanship is 2nd to none. Great fit and welds. No complaints here.

I have the UR upper and lower pipes. Great quality. My vehicle is a daily driver as well. UR stands behind their product and will replace in the event of any defects or similar. If you're on your way to 350whp this upgrade is essential.

you can get the same power from parts that are MUCH cheaper than AMS and the like. I think they do a lot of good for the Evo community, but a name isn't going to make your car fast, money will.. and when you can just get an exhaust from AMS or whoever, or an exhaust, drop in and UICP for the same price from someone else who has great quality, but not a bit name... who cares if you are making the power you want?

I can't recommend either...

UR has issues with cracking in their exhaust products (might carry over to their intercooler piping), I am 99% sure UR is SS. They use useless worm gear clamps for the couplers which are rubbish. Only benefit is cost... otherwise. ehhh...

Xtremeboost... lacks support really. Don't hear about them too much do you. Now they use excessively long couplers and multiple sections of piping instead of having them mandrel bent (like other company's NISEI, COBB, etc...). Use long couplers posses are issue that they swell underboost. Which isn't really help you too much, since the same thing happens with the stock tubing.

I say look else where. Just my 2 cents.

If you get quality first parts around you will need less parts to get your 350whp then piecing together more crappy lower cost parts.

There is a big difference between an Evo X and an Evo IX, including prices.
