Data from the CBRD BBX stock frame turbo will be available soon. It flows more than the Blouch and has similare spool.

That. There's a lot of options out there now. If this was like... 4 months back, this would be a legit question

I went DOM 2.0

Full boost by 3400 RPM (25psi)

Pulls hard all the way to redline

380 whp on a conservative 91 oct. tune.

id go with the DOM 2.0, to me its a better turbo than the FP Red, but I am also waiting on the stat #'s and results of the CBRD BBX stock frame turbo

Red for race gas/e85, DOM for pump.

For referance, this is what my DOM 2.0 did on the 91 octane DD map.

Gotta love that boost curve!

well i recently had a Dom 2 installed and tunned on my 08 MR....500 miles later (today) were under the impression the turbo seals have gone bad (nothing like a ton of bluish white smoke coming out of your exhaust when you get on boost)...kinda of pissed. The car made great power (330whp on 91 @ GST Motorsports) all the way up until the Dom 2 took a dump. Should have waited for the CBRD turbo.

Might not necessarily be the turbo's fault. Might have been an issue with the oil feed line or something. Just a possibility.

Care to elaborate on this possibility? If there was an issue with the oil feed line, it usually would be starving the turbo of oil. In my case the turbo is burning oil, not being starved of it. We checked (without removing the turbo physically) for oil leaks (thought that maybe it had become damaged and thats what was causing the burn, but when you burn directly through the exhaust its a bit hard to equate it) or bad oil feed line, didn't notice anything.
