I assume everyones mind set is to have the biggest turbo and e85 thing going ?

or do you guys need to see some #s before this cross your mind ?

I like to hear some more thoughts and opinions, Postive or Negative ..
Like I said, it would be a fully custom job that would get expensive and would be a little difficult to tune for. No one knows how they would perform on this engine so it's unlikely anyone would spend that kind of money on that kind of part with no research or testing done. Besides, it's easier and proven that a larger stock frame turbo can still spool decently fast and produce much more power on the top end. Add cams to the mix and it just improves on the setup even more.

I personally will never put a huge turbo on my car, I can't stand excessive lag, or run E85 since I can't get it around me. Something like a FPGreen with a new exhaust manifold, external wastegate and a set of mild cams would be all I need.

I really do like the idea of individual throttles and what they can do for a turbo car, but without a bolt on kit available and no research or testing, it's just not practical.

How about a set of barrel throttles...no throttle plates in the runners so at WOT it's an unrestricted path all the way to the valves...that would be sweet

Well if you click on the other link , Jenvey does now offer a ITB setup for the EVOs
with the airbox , all bolt on.

I wanted to get more feedback here , We hope to have it test here in the States soon.

But I wanted to throw this out like I did on the s2k fourms.

Few guys over there arent bright , I usually get the same remarks
"ITBS on Boost DONT work"

And my response is usually , RB26DETT, SR20DET , and even the AUDIs

I would like to see if theres is a posssiable market for these for you evo guys if and when the testing is done to see gain.

you would need a HUGE intake plenum that could fit all them butterflys but why bother, just get a huge intake throttle body and intake manifold and just take the lag that comes with it.
As others have stated its def. possible and has been done in many other applications. Some OEM and aftermarket.

You would not have to put the throttles in the plenum.

Right, for the 8 and 9... not for the 10.

If there was a kit for the 4B11 engine in the Evo 10 with a little testing done and proven results, I would definitely be interested.
