Power from basic bolt-ons

I'm considering a couple basic mods and am curious what kind of gains can be expected from an UICP and catback ONLY. I've been using OTS maps from Cobb and Perrin on an all stock car. I'd like to get a custom tune and wondering what kind of power and drivability improvements would be attained by adding the above mentioned mods vs. leaving the vehicle stock for the tune. My car is only doing DD duty.

Thanks.

go K & N drop-in or intake and add a hi-flow cat to that parts list. if you had to choose between a hi-flow cat and cat back, the H-flow cat will flow better. then take it on a road trip to Ivey tune and you will be very happy with the power. oh your question, haha you will be 315-325 whp/wtq with my mods

I agree with strocse if you're on 93 octane and we're talking Dynojet numbers.

i was kind of curious about this as well, my car was street tuned so im not sure what kinda WHP i have. here is a list of my mods

AEM Wideband and boost controller @ 25 lbs
Turbo XS intercooler +UICP + LICP rated at 750 hp
Custom 3" downpipe and exhaust with high flow cat
Fidanza V2 single disk clutch and aluminum flywheel
Turbonetics BOV
Mishimoto radiator piping
and the street tune of corse. just wish i knew what kinda AWHP i had...

i raced a SRT-4 with 385 FWHP and destroyed him.

Interesting topic considering I just picked up my X and am thinking things through as well. So far I'm tentatively planning:

Test pipe/cat back
ETS FMIC and UICP
K&N Panel filter/Cobb turbo inlet
Tune

Is 300+ whp on a dyno dynamics realistic?

add a LICP and if your boosting 20 - 30 you will most definately be over 300 WHP... i was told by the guy who tuned my car that i was mid 300 AWHP and i dont have much more than you

I have all the supporting mods for a bigger turbo and e85(besides a bigger fuel pump) and I'm barely hitting 314awhp on a mustang dyno w/ 91octane. Is my low awhp because I have an MR?!? I'm frustrated. Sorry to hijack your thread OP. I'm just venting.

its also a mustang dyno, which robs HP diff than a Dynojet. You would see bigger numbers on a Dynojet
