Extra bolt for DP

I was looking at some of the downpipes and saw that some of them come with an extra stud. What's it for? I thought the downpipes were a direct replacement. For ex. the ETS Dump.

There's a stud that comes with the kit to replace the stud on the OEM O2 housing. Just in case you don't have the tools to remove it you can just install the one that comes with the kit on the aftermarket one.

The OEM Turbo adapter aka "O2 housing" has one stud with a nut and the rest are all bolts. When you remove the OEM unit, the stud goes with it. My AMS O2 DP combo came with a new stud. You re-use the nuts and bolts (and gasket).

I just installed all bolts, no stud. Don't have to deal with that stud when moving the DP around during turbo install....

This sounds like a good idea. Can you tell us where you bought the replacement stud that would tap in like the others? Would buying one from the Mitsu dealer fit the bill?
