Just a update.

I imstalled a recirc catch can and it seems to still be getting alot of oil. Ill need to wait till Monday to order a new PCV valve. and try that one out... crossing fingers that it fixes it without a bad piston.

bump had the same problem oil shot out off my dipstick 2x.. and pcv valved was leaking...

Had the same symptoms, broken ring land.
Rebuilt the engine with cosworth internals, sadly this happened within the break-in
period:

Not exactly sure if it was a fuel leak after the engine was put back, or was it
because of the oil that splashed over the engine compartment when the tech forgot to tighten the oil cap.
