whenever this happens, there means there is excess crankcase pressure...
meaning its getting pressurized...

there is only 3 ways this can happen
1. boost if getting past the rings
2. the pcv valve has failed
3. one installed a crankcase vent incorrectly or introduced boost into the crankcase by other means

usually #1 is the case, to verify, do a leakdown test.... a compression test wont tell you everything

Jeez, would that mean one would have to get some sort of engine work done?

This thread is driving me nuts. Can the OP update his current status? Has the issue been resolved?

hey, OP here.

I replaced the PCV and it seemed to fix the probelm. However, I still have Much more Blow bye then my buddy innercontrol here on the forums. He is running more power/boost then me and still has less blowbye. But as far as i can tell, the motor has been healthy. Seems to be making good power.

I recently installed a prototype Air Oil Speperator and i have since Deleted the PCV and im using that as a 2nd vent to help vent the head/crank.

potentially...
at the least, over sized pistons, new rings, bore and hone....everything else can remain the same
if your this deep into it, might as well go forged rods and pistons (86.5 mm), balance the rotating assembly and call it a day... with that the bottom end should withstand 9k+ if built right...
you almost might want valve springs and retainers to add extra comfort...
if your wallet is feeling generous do add stainless steel exhaust valves (lap them in or do a valve job)...

a leak down is far more important, IMO.

i have seen several cases first hand where compression was in the appropriate range, yet leak down proved there to be problems.

i really would check the compression, just seeing this tread now so sorry if resolved already but usually blow by is caused by motor issues.

I did a compression and a leak down test and everything seems normal. I haven't had the crank case pressure issue until I got tuned with higher boost levels. Maybe my PCV valve was bad or it just cannot hold higher boost.
