Question Magnaflow catback or Magnaflow turboback?

Hey Guys!
I own an Evo X GSR and i'm thinking of installing a magnaflow exhaust.
I originally thought of purchasing a catback exhaust, but i was recently told that a turboback system would offer greater performance on the stock GSR.
I would appreciate your advice on this matter
Thanks

i have a rexpeed o2/dp, t1r resonated tp, and a magnaflow catback with the bottleneck section replaced with a 3" pipe to make the whole set up full 3"....i have no regrets and absolutely love it...i would recommend to anyone looking for a full 3" tbe quiet not so annoying loud set up. believe me when you're cruising you won't even think you have a tbe on there

I'm new to EVO modding myself, but you don't have to read too many posts before you see the value of going to a TBE. I was sold yesterday when I saw a pic of the AMS widemouth DP next to the stock one. I'm following the advice of...intake, exhaust, tune. Got the catback on. About to decide on DP and HFC.

The general consensus on the matter has been that you do not really need to change the DP if your turbo is gonna remain stock. Also, the labor to install the DP would work out better if you were swapping the turbo out as well. That is the reason most just change the Catback or the catback plus TP or HFC.

If you are trying to keep your costs down for now and do have a turbo upgrade planned for the future, you really should think about putting the DP install off for later. I'm not gonna tell you it does not matter, of course it does matter if you have a better aftermarket DP replace the stock DP. But is it really what you want right now is the question. You can always do it later too.

Everything I've said so far is basically what I've read on the forums in the 2 years I've been here, it is not from my experience, so do take it with a grain of salt.
