Hi Guys,

I was reading some of the instructions on boosting in the Cobb website and was wondering if anyone has taken the boost pill out running with a stage 1 and if so, is there a difference on power or anything like that?

I was thinking the same... but I figured I'd just get me electronic boost controller. Not sure if it'll make lots of difference... Maybe just allows you to boost higher/better?

 

^From what I have read don't go with Cobb if you are planning on running an EBC/MBC. Their maps are set up to run a certain way (with the boost pill mod). If you are going to run a boost controller you should get protuned.

 

I took the boost pill out when I uploaded my AP tune, so far I have no problems at all. I didnt try the car without the pill and without the flash. I did notice a big difference when I installed the flash.

 

yeah i took mine out months ago and no problems yet, and yeah when i flashed it i definately noticed a difference

 

So, are you guys running on Stage 1 or 2? Because I'm asking this for stage 1? Also, I don't plan on getting a EBC/MBC.
