I used a Cosworth for an EvoX that was pushing a little over 400whp and had no problems what so ever

Ralliart filter. I love it, it's very well made, seals great on the outside, and is durable as hell. I'm actually selling mine and going to a short ram intake if you're interested.

BTW, it's a dry filter that is completely reusable after cleaning it.

Cosworth. HKS doesn't really filter anything, and according to HB Speed the Cosworth still performs better.

^^^ You know, some of 4B11's that I've heard of with problems seem to have an HKS drop-in. Sometimes thats like the only mod. Not filtering anything would explain it.

^^^Well, I've had one on my car for about 3500 miles and my car runs mint. Unless someone can post up some solid results otherwise, all the talk about flow from one filter to the next is heresay.

I've checked my filter recently, Monday for that matter, and it was dirty. Thus meaning it's doing it's job just fine. There is no dust on my MAF sensor either.

AFAIK no one has yet proved a drop-in will make more power (when tuned) than stock. Why bother?

I use the green performance filter... it works well for me, but I changed several parts along with the filter, so I can't tell you if I felt any sort of power gain from it.

Oiled filters illegal in Australia? That's a strange law. I read where Luis Hamilton was busted for spinning his tires on public road and had his car impounded during last week's GP weekend in Australia ...and I though CA had tough laws.
