Perrin drop-in would be my choice but since you don't want an oiled element filter I think the Cosworth is the way to go.

Cosworth for sure but I also ran the Blitz LM dry panel filter for a year with no issues and would recommend that as well. I have an HKS panel filter but didn't use it long as I don't feel it's worth the MAF failure risk when the Cosworth and Blitz filters get the job done.

Stupid question, but is the Cosworth filter really reusable? How is it cleaned if you don't need to oil it?
I can't seem to find anything clarifying this.

HKS drop-in. No problems what so ever, and you hear the turbo spool and bov way more if that's your thing.

I went for the K&N. No problems with it yet. Granted, I've only had about 3k miles on it. You can hear the turbo and the BOV pretty well with it.

Cosworth is a disposable filter although Cosworth told us you can clean it with a air compressor and be fine but it will not flow a 100% like replacing with a new one.
They are cheap though and do not need to be placed often, they are great filters

im hearing this alot and making me go mad. can anyone elaborate on this?

example: will car A, car B, and car C make the same power (tuned) if the three cars have the same major boltons (exhaust....) but car A has stock intake, car B has panel filter, and car C have an intake system?

Funny how no one has mentioned the Works drop in filter yet. I guess it is a bit expensive, but it is reusable.
