Boost Trouble!

When ever I boost its always different, most of the time it will spike to about 22 then go down to 18 or so, others only up to 19 then taper down to about 16, and sometimes it will spike to 25. First gear is the worst, but it does happen in all gears.

Need some opinions on what it might be, Possibly a leaking recirc valve, or boost solenoid?

I just installed a boost gauge on my MR X and it spikes at 29 psi. should i worry?

yeah that's not right for it to spike like that. Are you guys stock or running boost controllers or what?

AdvancEvo - Check you boost in 3rd gear starting from 3k rpms and full throttle. (do this in a safe/closed area). If its same every time then you are good.

why are so many people having this problem with installing a boost gauge lol? I am one of these people. ive never had a problem tapping a boost gauge on any other car in my life. If a vacuum line is pinched will it do this?
