boost gauge help!

I'm currently using an AEM digital boost gauge and starts off with -30psi to 35 psi..and recently my cars been sitting at -30psi at idle and has a hard time passing -14psi...Do you guys think it's the hose ripped or do I have a boost leak? Thanks.

Hard to say. Were you able to build boost on this gauge before?

Sounds like the gauge is bad....what is the gauge reading with the key on and engine not running?

If the car is running normal and hitting boost fine, it's probably a bad gauge, or you tapped into an incorrect hose.

You should be around 20 in/Hg at idle.. then go into positive boost, obviously, when you accelerate hard.

My gauge was running 18lbs of boost before and now it goes only upto 8lbs of boost and struggles to go even higher..when my car is on (not engine running) it sets as 14-16.

Replace the gauge. (or sender unit?) I'm not sure how the AEM digital gauge is setup.
