Grimmspeed 3 port questions...
Guys, this was my screw up here. I realized I hooked up according to the external wastegate instead of the OE set-up. Hopefully I didn't cause any engine damage. I use AMSoil and only took it to 5 grand, so maybe those 2 will be on my side for this... sorry for the bad stuff to the grimmspeed guys.
they are dropped back 30% I think. I have my guy working on it and he's going to do a few things and once I log another run if the boost goes up high again, then something's not either hooked up correctly, or the 3 port needs to be replaced.
Make sure it is plugged into the Brown plug. But the wrong plug will not cause over boost problems.
If you have the WG and Intake Ports backwards, then you could get an overboost situation.
Easiest way to check if it is right:
With the car off, blow in the hose that normally connects to the Turbo Outlet / boost port, such that air is going into the 3 port. You should feel air come out of the hose that will go to your WGA. If not then very bad.

the instruction is on their website, I was installing it last week and I searched it on google it pops right out. next time use google to search, it's a better search engine than evom search.
those 3 I got right... I mean there's only one nipple that comes off of where the WG is right? And the one closest to the turbo that is inbetween the UICP and turbo right? I'm just making sure.
ok guys, Golden helped me figure out what I was doing wrong... somehow the WG and intake lines got reversed, so that's straight now.. i'm throwing the P0247 which is without remembering exactly what it says that the solenoid isn't there lol. Has anyone been able to plug the black connector into the brown one? I can't seem to get it to plug in.. perhaps I am missing something?
yeah like I said
P0247 is because the passive solenoid is no longer plugged in.
You can use the DTC Disable code I posted in the DTC Disables thread for your ROMID to get rid of it..

ok cool, I just don't understand why it says you can plug it in to bypass the code... doesn't make much sense.
normally you just plug the original solenoid back into the spare connector...
you need to take a picture of the solenoid + harness so we can make sure your doing it right...
