Grimmspeed 3 port questions (updated with pics)

Hey guys.. i've sent out a few emails to some friends to ask some advice on the 3 port installation.

I am ok on the plug and play stuff, but i'm just not sure which vacuum hoses go to which ports... also, the intake one that is suppose to go back to port 1... where is it? Is it the one that goes to my UR UICP? There is a T near the turbo as well and anyway, i'm just confused with all of the hoses... could anyone help by posting some pics and point out which hoses go where? Do I need all new hoses or can I do this with what is there already? Thanks for any help guys!

Port 3 is to the turbo, Port 2 is the WGA, Port 1 goes to the intake (if you have a spot for it, my AMS intake doesn't). There are no spots on the UR UICP for Port 1 (I have the same UICP). I would recommend running all new hoses (with zipties), it is just easier. Make sure you leave the coarse solenoid plugged in to the harness because the car doesn't like having it unplugged, disconnect the lines though.

ok I think I got it, the electronics part I get, the brown will connect to the GS 3 port. The black is gone. The boost source will come from right below the UICP, the T is removed and another line will be run from the WGA, the intake underneath the pipe leading to the air box will go to the last port... don't know which ports are which without looking at the directions at the moment, but can someone tell me if i'm correct or no?

Yep, sounds like you have it: Boost Source = Port 3; WGA = Port 2; Port 1 = intake. Like I said, it is easier to just remove everything and run brand new lines.

ok cool... now last question, where is the best place to get these lines? My local hardware store isn't known for having the largest of inventory... would a hardware have them? Is it just standard vacuum lines or something better to hold the higher pressure? Also... should I use the metal squeeze things to hold the lines or are the zip ties actually better? What about them dry rotting and such eventually?

I went to Advance and asked for 5/32 vacuum hose, the barbs on the GS are smaller than stock and 5/32 seemed to fit both pretty well. I couldn't make the squeeze clamps work because the line is too small, but zipties work well. I think by the time they dry rot, you will probably be out of the car anyway

I wanted 1/8 but they didn't have it, 5/32 is the closest I could get.

what would bigger vac lines do for the 3 port? Anything at all? Better to stay as close to OEM as possible? Are their better/worse lines out there?

ok my tuner is telling me that perhaps this thing is hooked up wrong because my boost is spiking to 28.4... so I thought i'd post some pics to make sure...

this obviously is the UICP and right below where it connects is the tit for the vacuum line to hook up to, this would be the main boost source correct?

I know these pics aren't great shots, but the car was hot and I was trying to do them in a hurry... down there on this pic is the WG

The intake I don't have a pic for, but it would be going sort of under the pipe that connects to the airbox.

The electrics are... the brown solenoid will stay and go on the lower part of the bracket and reconnect the OE brown connecter, the black solenoid is gone, but the plug it did go to now connects to the GS 3 port correct?

The vacuum lines... the one closest to the turbo goes to port 3 correct?
the WG lines go to the number 2 port
and the air intake connects to number 1.

Do I have all of these right?
