The T fitting you are using should not have anything to do with it. Just loosen the pre-load.
Please report on your results.

ps. where can I source a Y fitting, cant seem to find one ANYWHERE that is non-quick disconnect. :strange:

Inci9nito99 try loostening the preload a tad.. im assuming you are running on ports A+B

appreciate you replying and helping out Devin. Honestly the piece I used to T off A+B was the piece from the stock boost solenoid. As per my tunner stating to me that the stock boost solenoid is no longer in use because of my EBC. So since the BOV didn't come with any T&Y fittings I had to pull that piece off the lines coming off the stock boost solenoid. I'll have to look for the correct T/Y fitting when I get out of the field.

Devin, or anyone that can answer this. I'm still trying to figure out why the car JERKS and HESITATES when on partial throttle? Do I need to tune or just loosen the pre-load. Now from reading the instruction booklet the BOV came with it said not to mess with the pre-load.

I also noticed my BOV doesn't have port c and that it's been plugged off is this
right?

I am having the same issues as you. My BOV just came and I have the Y that came with the kit. Not sure what the solution is. Can anyone tell me where we are supposed to attach the the intake manifold? The kit mine came with wont fit over were the stock BOV line went to.

i had mine on for alil over 1k miles now running a harmon motive intake. I also noticed the silicon tube was to big to fit over the bov but i just tightened it extra tight.

not much to complain, works good for me on my 30r. i do get a lot of surging at part throttle but i think thats more related to my turbo since i experienced the same on my stocker.

Is the kit a kind of "hard line"? If so it will actually slide inside the stock BOV vac line and is hard enough to be held in with one of the OEM BOV clamps.
I've been running mine that way for a while and have had zero problems

Vented to atmosphere or set up for recirc?
and yes Port C is always plugged off on the Evo X specific synchronic bov

Installed mine this weekend and it works great on an AMS setup and FP Red. It flutters a bit if your not on it or at half throttle but it works great and doens't bother me at all. Able to hold much more boost and sounds awesome.

Well after much experimenting I have found what seems to work best on my car. I have A venting to atmosphere and B pluged to vacum with the pre-load backed all the way out. I still get a tiny bit of surge but not much.

Just got retuned on TobZ's dyno this past Tuesday with the synchronic. The bov is a great product and holds boost well. However I still get bucking in 4th and 5th gear when on partial throttle meaning when im cruising in in 4-5th gear increasing speed the car starts bucking when I hit about 80mph I actually have to floor it to stop the car from hesitating. I've expermented with the preload screw But no luck. If anyone has any ideas on why this happens please explain.

What are your RPMs at when this happens? If you are in 5th gear and try to accelerate while at 2 or 3k etc your going to experience turbo flutter. AkA, bucking/hesitation. Downshift before accelerating. Hope that helps!

^That or you need to tone down your mivec settings if you have really aggressive mivec that can happen too since you are trying to spool the turbo too fast.
