if you return to stock configuration before taking car in to dealer, can they pull the vehicles 'black box' history and find out that it was boosting more than stock?

if you convert back to stock, no they cannot tell by pulling data from the ecu. However, they will look over everything, take pictures of everything, and if there's any evidence of aftermarket parts, bye bye warranty.
If you modded your car, and broke your car, dont be a douchebag and take it back in expecting them to pay for it.
On the other hand, if you had accesport and need work done on something that you 100% did not break due to your mods, then go ahead and take it back to stock to get the work done.
Unfortunately so many people mod, then convert to stock when they blow up the car expecting mistu to cover it, that mistu is now super **** about warranties. Like, ridiculously ****.

i agree with you, but the dealers i've been to for past cars..blame a known issue on an aftermarket part.
for example, if i go in with a 2nd/3rd gear problem, and the dealer blaming it on the cobb accessport.
all i plan for the car is a conservative tune and dp, cat delete...nothing too crazy or hectic but i want to play it safe.
