Strange indeed, I understand dyno differences and load differences but to be less than half almost 1/3 of the other Red Turbo pump gas plots I've seen?

Any way, can others post your red and or green plots on pump gas please?

If you are looking for 400whp why not just go to E85 and keep the stock turbo? You can use map switching so you can retain the 93 oct tune. Just a thought. If you are staying with 93 oct and no meth/e85 you should strongly consider a non stock frame turbo upgrade. As the power will grow substaintially if you start a bigger build while on 93 oct. Between the 2 choices you have though I would say go Red for sure. I don't think you will actually notice the diffrence in spool. Just my .02's

Ooops, just realized why that looks weird, lol.

That is boost and power, i was talking about spool up. There isn't torque on that graph!

No E85 stations within 100 miles of me I *might* consider meth, though i don't really want another reservoir to have to check.

The Dom II is similar to green, but I don't know if they do conversions to those or what their price/warranty looks like.. Plus I hear they surge...

This is a nice plot!

I don't really wanna open the motor to put cams in though, so without cams it would be maybe 380, but spool quicker right?

I don't have the torque for that comparison but I checked on the torque for a few others and they are never even below 100.

As the above guy posted, you will need the Red to crack 400whp without cams on pump.

And as another guy posted, just get the red, lag is overrated, its not a big deal.

so if i understand correctly, the difference in spool up is 300 rpms between the green and the red? i only need inyectors, no pump for red or green and 800 will be enough?

which are the different (avegare) spool up times

stock= ???
red= ???
green= ???
blouch= ???
bb-= ???

That's what I'm trying to obtain now. But it's not quite that simple, alot of variables come into play.

Red and/or BBX is what you want if you EVER want more than 400whp on pump.

For me 400whp is enough, at least for a few years...so if the spool is really only 300rpm difference, than I could get the red, keep the boost around 25 or so, and if I ever decide to push harder in the future, I can turn up the boost and/or get some cams....after you build the motor of course to handle it.

The question is do I EVER plan on more than 400whp in this car.....If not, green will probably do. I can push 370whp until I get some cams 12 months after the turbo

Ahhh...I'm so torn

Hey Mike, thanks for your feedback! What do you mean by "safely"? Maybe b/c you will have to run much more boost on the green to get 400whp versus the red at 400whp?
