New Clutch?

Hey so some of yall already convinced me it was time for a new clutch and cmc, but what is a good clutch that can handle lots of mods while also being inexpensive? Im not too knowledgeable on clutches... Thanks!

That is sort of a redundant statement...if you start doing lots of mods i.e. more than just the basic bolt ons for stock turbo you pretty much need to plan on a puck clutch or a twin/triple disc. The cheaper clutch replacements like the organic ACT or Exedy are only meant for about 450whp if that and run $600-800. The puck clutches aren't that much more like $750-$1000 but the twin disc and up can easily run you $1600-3k+

Get an ACT 6 puck if you are on a budget, mine is awesome and help 450+wtq with no problems.

The above statements pricing is a little off, but he is correct a 6 puck or twin/triple would be necessary.

is there much difference in the 6 puck or twin/triple? if I was shooting for around 540 whp as my end result what would be a relatively inexpensive solution?

puck has a much rougher engaugement than twin discs, they dont have very good driveability for daily use. on the other hand, they are much cheaper

exedy/cusco twin handles decent power and is barely any heavier than stock to use, spend the $$ and do it right 1st time
