Anyone using 0W50 oil?

I'd like to hear from some experienced track guys, if anyone has been running 0w50 weight oil?

Im looking for a bit more protection in the hot summer here in SoCal and have some Eneos 0w50 oil lay around but Im a bit concerned with how thick it will get and if there's a chance of some potential damage buy running oil this thick.

Please only comment if you have had experience with this weight, I've already read plenty of hypothetical theories.

Thanks!

There is a guy that was using 0/40 in his and had lab results to show how it performed. From what he posted the 0/40 did a good job at protecting the engine. I am not sure how the 0/50 would be.

not smart not reccomended, 4B11 is a very tight toleranced engine, unless you are built running high boost i would run 0W30 or 5W30
