Quote: Arent the intake valves already to big for the engine already? But depends on your power output. Been quoted yet for the headwork for the oversized valves yet? And i dont think Supertech has finished the oversized seals yet.
Buschur uses the supertech valves in their built heads, they are done already.

Yes I have been quoted...but i don't know the breakdown...it was just a lump sum, lol.

I have the +1mm intake and exhaust in my head. I had it done by MAP.

33psi on a Red. I was riding shotgun at the time...just accelerating on an on-ramp to a freeway. The rod bent and made a mess.

Dave can correct me but I think the short blocks are in the upper $2k's.

Say "blown", but say it slowly, and wink afterwards.

so you weren't even going WOT? i think you already talked about this in another thread but a little reminder wouldn't hurt. what wtq numbers was your set up putting down when this happened? and how long did you have it running at those numbers before it blew, and how many miles?

Not really WOT, i was just rolling into it.

Wtq was probably about 460wtq at 33psi.

I probably only had 1000 miles on the car since the recent retune.

That made me picture Jack Black saying that for some reason. Movie, maybe?

But of course

As I have said before, i will start buying it by the 50 gallon drum before going back to pump gas...I can't imagine not having e85 anymore, it is awesome.

I keep debating the change over to E85 or anything other then 93 oct. But it always comes down to if I'm not around an E85 pump, I'm going to end up having to put in pump gas. Especially on my long trips up to the Minneapolis VA Hospital.

Tephra has map switching now for ECUflash...have your tuner load that on. Then before long trips, drain your tank thoroughly and run one tank of 93 through and don't boost much then the next tank should be good to go on 93.

Then repeat when going back to e85.
