Thinking about getting an AMS hfc and wondering if I should get the O2 spacer at the same time, or should i wait to see if i throw a cel. Please chime in if you own a ams HFC.

I have an AMS HFC and Vibrant O2 spacer (middle restrictor), but I'm also running a Cobb tune. I bought the O2 spacer to guard against a CEL when I'm running the stock tune. I've heard it works for some people, but not for others. The spacer is cheap money, so give it a try. As for the AMS HFC, so far so good.

 

I have an AMS HFC with their spacer and I still throw a CEL. I bought Touge Factory's CEL fix but never installed it, so I can't comment on whether or not theirs works.

It's basically the luck of the draw. Like Darwin said, it works for some and not for others, so definitely get it. Then cross your fingers and hope it works. That damn CEL sure is annoying.
