Exedy Twin Disk

Does anyone have an idea of about how many miles an Exedy twin disk clutch should last under moderate use? (mostly street driving, a few launches, very occasional track use)

Thanks.

Many factors will contribute to its life span... (break-in procedure, SD or HD, install). I recommend going with the HD version which will provide you with added clamping force. I wouldn't be surprised seeing the clutch last over 20-30,000 miles with mild abuse, and it's rebuildable.

Thanks. Definitely looks like the way to go. Does anyone know how much the rebuild kits cost? I can't seem to find one. Probably just not looking in the right places.

If you replace all the discs and intermediate plates (4 total) in there I would say about $700 give or take. Don't forget the snap ring that goes in pressure plate. You'll likely mess it up taking it out.

Thanks guys. Good to know that people are having success with these things (other than the MC failure).
