Question Clutch for high rpm/drag/dd

Hi chaps,

I would appreciate some advice from those in the know please, I have thought of carbonetics tripple as it will illiminate the pull style setup but was wondering if there are any other options such as tilton etc???

700+hp, 780lbs/min turbo, full head work, built short motor, drag use, high rpm use and daily driver.

Thanks

Reason I ask is that I am aware that I may encounter problems with pop out with the stock style pull release bearing setup.

nobody answers b/c if you're seriously building a 700+ HP car, with a turbo that flows 78lbs/min (what the hell are you putting on here, and when do you plan on it spooling???), then you should have some sort of idea of how to get that power to the ground. Or at least be paying a shop a hell of a lot of money, and they should know what to use. Or else you're full of it.

But on the off chance that you're actually doing this, I would talk to AMS about the exedy push style triple. IDK if I'd use a carbonetics...

Norris Designs offers a triple plate clutch for you...Sound like your building a beast of a car like ND's cars.

Carbonetic, own it, DD it, and love it, once it's broken in feels really good.

Listen mate your a bell end... we are using a borg warner turbo with the help of Geoff@Full Race. I am only asking what clutches the guys with high reving 4b11's are using your side of the pond!

Hello mate I have spoken to Norris designs already and hopefully we will be working on something. So tilton and other guys over there in the states dont offer a hydraulic tripple plate setup? The link from AMS site you posted would'nt be ideal however this one on their site would:

However I was wanting to hear of other options (superclutch, tilton etc) hence the post.

Thanks

I am aware these are excellent clutches but I believe when pushing high rpm 9-10k there mechanism may not stand the abuse and a hydraulic setup may be the best option. I just thought there would be a triple plate with hydraulic release mechanism available over in the states other than the AMS kit.

Thanks
