CP-E Cat-back Exhaust Review

Well.. Here's a review for the CP-E cat-back exhaust mounted on my Evo X SST. I'd like firstly to thank the guys at Custom Performance Engineering for the fast shipping. I live in Qatar, so you can imagine how long it took for the shipment to arrive here.
Quality is very good too.

Here you go..

Since the package has been through a lot, I expected something bad inside..

The packaging by CP-E was top notch. Everything was well packaged, and I guess that what saved my exhaust!

However, during installation, I faced a problem. The axle back pipe should have a smaller diameter to go into the mid pipe, which wasn't the case with this cat-back. Both of the mid pipe and the axle back pipe ends have the same diameter, so we had to heat one of the pipes to let it slide into the other pipe.

The heat shield was so annoying during installation that we had to shave some of it to let the mid pipe bolt into the cat. This is actually my first installation of a cat-back, so maybe it's just me

But after all, the sound was very satisfying. My search for an exhaust took me months. I was looking for a deep sound but not very loud. I was about to order an ETS exhaust but some members warned me that it's going to be VERY loud! So I figured the CP-E is one of the best options out there. And for the price it totally deserves it.

Here's a video I took today for you guys:

An AMS test pipe is coming soon. Another video will be made hopefully!

hey I got my exhaust today and I was faced with the same problem. I just can't get the midpipe to connect to the cat, because of the stupid heat shield. How did you shave this off? because it's kind of metal. Can I use a scissor? What can I use to get rid, shave this off?

you can use a pair of pliers to bend the heat shield back if you don't have tin snips
