Going Lean at High RPM WOT
Going Lean at High RPM WOT
I was tuning the X today using Tephra's PSI-based boost (which is awesome BTW) when I suddenly started going lean at about 5500-6000+. Even after throwing fuel at it all I had was the same lean AFRs, but almost maxed-out IDCs (15.58 datalog). At the end, reflected in the 15.58 log, I was in the 9s in the High Octane Map in the upper RPMs/Load. Could my fuel pump be on its way out? I'm still using the stocker, and have not had any issues up to this point. I do have a JNZ fuel pump kit in the garage I can put in. FWIW, I have the blue relay and checked to make sure the FPR line was still attached.
Background on the runs: these were the last of 17 runs I made spread over two hours, so perhaps heat-soak was affecting things (95* and 50% humidity)?
