My car is currently being tuned in TX, and my tuner contacted me and told me that the car made really good hp, but is going lean with anything less than 5/8th of a tank of gas. So while tuning he had to keep it full. My question is, what could be the cause of this.... fuel pumps, fpr (stock fpr)?? I'm still waiting to get a response on if it is only at WOT or cruising as well. Thank you in advance.

 

That's a weird one. Was the fuel pump recently changed? If so, make sure all the lines were properly reconnected to the sending unit. Especially the one that's inside the tank on the sending unit that pulls fuel from the other side of the tank.

 

No the pumps have been in there for quiet awhile. I'll ask to see if they have messed with any of the fuel lines or fuel pumps.
