^I've got a ported/coated stock Mani from MAPerformance, Geoff, if you send me a mani for a goo deal in a month or so I will get you gains over the MAP stock one if you want with dyno charts Finishing up my FPblack build now though, so need to focus on that first.

How much did your stock manifold cost to get ported and all? I was only looking into this as a slight upgrade. I'm keeping the stock turbo and I didn't want much down time on the car for porting or want to spend $300 +/- on a stock used manifold and have the hassle of reselling mine.

Check MAP's website for that if you want, but I know they are busy so it could be a while before you get it back.

I think it was 250 for the port job and 90 for the coating...somewhere around that.

You could see if GrimmSpeed has a core. Their porting isn't as aggressive, though.

Thanks for the input however i am aware of that as all these factors together make the combined output results and not just one particular component in the build. What i want to see is that as full-race has made a comparison between the ETS and their Prostock manifold with obvious gains etc...what is the increase or gains when compared to the same setup (the mods etc that the fullrace and ets manifolds were tested on) evo x running a stock mani? Those numbers i was referring to would be interesting to see....

for those of you that are installing tubular manifolds do you guys have to get re-tuned right after you install it? or does it not change that much. i just ordered a new manifold and i am just curious if i should get re-tuned.

I have a grimmspeed p&p'd exhaust manifold and i would say the the porting job is as aggressive as possible. However, on the intake manifold, they donot take it as far in term of porting as MAP does. MAP and Grimmspeed work very close together as they are within minutes of eachother.

I saw about a 10 whp gain throught the powerband on my stock turbo, and unknown gains since ive switched to the red. I do know that the RED seems to make very nice power considerings my modlist.

My guess is you're referring to PPI. Their "extreme" port job looks to be pretty good.
