3 yrs ago ex-wife and I owned an evo 8 with megan parts dp tp and cb, all good products thought about the header and seen to many ppl with a megan header cracking and warping so i told myself never another megan part. some quality is better then others. full race has a set price and a guarantee they stand behind. some just cant offer that and give you a cheap price with no peace of mind. after this deployment you can expect to see a full race mani on my x with a fp black.

Not to derail the thread but indeed that chart was a difference between a Full Race and ETS header at the time. To be fair the O2 DP was swapped from UR to ATP but since they were both really similar 3" design off the turbo with the WG side being the only difference it probably played a minor role. For my GT30 turbo setup the slightly smaller runners on the Full Race gave me more low to mid range where as the ETS was more top end. CBRD also seems to be a strong candidate and they had some dyno numbers to show as well. Warranties are great but avoiding having to remove the manifold for repair in the first place is much prefferred so the Megan 1 year warranty scares me.

It would be intersting to see how it fairs on a FP Black so be sure to report back as dyno info on headers is limited still.

i just recently ordered a megan and i sent it out to get it ceramic coated and after i picked it up i installed and and it leaked so i thought maybe i needed to tighten it down more well not true because the bolts snapped and when i put it on for the first time i used my oem gasket so then i decided that i would try the gasket that they gave me so i bought some new bolts and put their gasket they sent with it on and it still leaked so i decided i would try and buy a new gasket thinking that maybe my oem one was already crushed from the stock turbo so i tried buying a new gasket and it still leaked. so stupid me finally decides to check and see if the manifold to turbo flange is that and it wasn't it was actually really bad it was almost .020" off so now i have to try and get my manifold re surfaced. i would just return it but there is no way that they are going to reimburse me for the heat coating that i paid for already. i would have just kept the stock one but it is cracked really bad. yes i have an evo turbo swap on my car. so as of right now all i can say about the manifold is

i wouldn't run the megan, doesn't seem like it would hold up to continuous heat, i.e. i a road race app... street maybe.... seems pretty thin wall...

It seems like if you could weld a brace from the turbo flange to the head flange it would hold up alot better and not crack?? It would be nice too if megan would grind all the head and turbo flanges flat after all the welding has been done.
