Megan Racing Turbo Header / Manifold

Has anyone come across this yet? I was thinking of just porting my stock manifold but for the trouble, this seems like a good alternative.

megan manifolds for the viii/ix were hit or miss

most vendors offer lifetime warranties on their manifolds..megan offers a one year

Looks like crap. I would stay away from Megan products.

I thought about the warranty right after I posted; whether or not it will crack and how much of a pain it'll be to replace.

You're only looking at the peak numbers.

I would stay away from Megan, especially if you're talking about a manifold.

Test pipe? That's fine.

I would go with ETS, CBRD, or Full Race. I got the ETS manifold and I love it. Fitment was spot on.

EDIT:

That was from Hi-boost's car. That gain was over the ETS manifold; so it should be significantly more over the stock manifold. I think Hiboost also changed downpipes at the same time, but I can't recall.

we build some of the highest quality turbo manifolds in the world, our stock turbo evo manifolds are some of our most popular headers, due to their outstanding fabrication/weld quality and excellent performance. We keep these in-stock, ready to ship! no wait The stoptech time attack evoX has just chosen this header for their pursuit

Here is a recent order of Evo 8/9 and Evo X stock turbo headers that we sent to a large distributor in Asia

the full-race manifold gains a lot more than 8whp/8tq? maybe you are comparing it to ETS?

^ Do you have numbers or a dyno chart on how much the full race manifold makes?

Dyno numbers would be great as i want to know how much the full race manifold makes over the stock unit.

There is no one number. It depends on the entire setup: turbo size, exhaust size, cams, etc.

On a stock turbo maxed out, it won't see huge peak gains because the turbine wheel/turbine housing becomes the bottle neck. It will see significantly improved mid-range. On a larger, stock-frame turbo, it'll see bigger peak gains vs. the stock manifold.
