BBX... Upgraded Oil Lines?

With the recent string of BBX turbos being cooked.
Is it worth upgrading the OEM oil lines with those offered from Forced Performance?

I'd ask Chad at CBRD first and see what he thinks...then ask Robert if they have more in stock, not sure if he made a bunch or just enough for the FPblack testers.

Regardless, I am sure that he could make more.

A fine question. If I have the turbo pulled this Winter for inspection then I'd be interested in an upgrade.

Does anyone know what those upgraded lines consist of? I wonder if it requires a larger connection to the oil pan or what.

I have about 50 miles on my BBX and have been beating the SNOT out of it, no issues so far! I'd say ask Chad, but then again he'd probably have recommended it already if it was really a known issue.

Got any links to the BBX failure? I've only heard of one or two, and they seemed to suggest problems with install or tuning, not problems with the turbo itself. Interested in more info if its available

didn't say it's a known issue though but i'd say upgrade it as it does not cost that much before anything else gives up. prevention is better right ?

murlo get me 1 set !

we had an issue with coatings on 2 of them, the other was overspeed if i recall!!
