I haven't been driving my car, but that's kinda how mine is...gutted trunk, no back seat/headrests etc.

Mine was too...60 miles a day +!

But a motor blowing up changes things, was forced to buy a beater. So now it sits as it was when the motor blew up on the way to the dragstrip, semi gutted

After reading this thread.. maybe i'm wrong. I always thought it was a general consensus that the Green was much more street-able than the red...?

Not sure...I never ran it on pump at wastegate.

On my dyno at wastegate on e85 i hit 338 (which is about 400whp peak on a dynojet).

So on pump I would guess you would be close to 350ish maybe.

Yep, I know. Which is why i think my setup still had some power left in it. I think I needed a new bov, think mine was leaking. Then probably a tubular mani...but all that is in the past now.

so what is the difference between the red and green? Spool? Power output? I don't care if it doesn't light right up at 3 grand... I like saving gas when I need it anyway.

Green would be around 440 hp and red would be 480+. It really varies depending on mods and dyno and fuel and such.

Green has less lag than a Red and more than a stocker.

When I first installed my Red, I though the lag was bad. Now that I've driven it for a while, I don't notice the lag at all. I must just rev it a tad higher before shifting. It pretty much feels like the stock turbo in the stock car. But man does it pull to red line. Like, "get tickets in a flash" pulls. Seriously. Take off from a light, hit second and floor it, quickly shift to third and oh crap, going way too fast. If I shift to 4th, I'm getting in trouble. It all happens faster than you read this.

Hell, I feel like that now, so I can't really imagine. I said I wasn't going to do anymore mods, but now i'm thinking about it .... of course later on down the road when I get the money to do so. I just wouldn't know which to get.. if the green isn't much cheaper, then I may as well go with the red.

Golden my friend, how many lbs are you running on yours? Obviously your using the E85, so how many lbs would I be looking at on 93?

If you don't care about lag, go Red for sure, no reason not to. The lag between the two isn't a huge difference anyways. The transient response would be almost identical and once its spools it pulls and pulls.

Yeah, I'm usually letting off right after shifting into 4th. The BBX is about the same as the Red.
